"Lena": soft, sweet and vintage

And here she is... my new kit "Lena". She is named after a very sweet girl called Lena whose mother, Vke, has become a very close friend over the past few months. The kit would never have been what she is today without her advice and I'm very happy that she agreed to do some layouts. Meet "Lena"!

Bokrijk

To close off the summer holidays we spent the day in Bokrijk, a splendid Open Air Museum known for its magnificent collection of old Flemish houses and farms. This is how the Flemish countryside must have looked like around 1900. In some of the houses locals portray life and the old professions of days gone by. Children can play with old toys and Nathan loved walking on stilts. After a while he was even quite good at it...

Sneak peek

As we were out most of the weekend, I did not have time to finish the new kit, but we are nearly there. I called it "it's a girl thing", because it is girly and romantic, full of flowers and swirls.
