Bokrijk

To close off the summer holidays we spent the day in Bokrijk, a splendid Open Air Museum known for its magnificent collection of old Flemish houses and farms. This is how the Flemish countryside must have looked like around 1900. In some of the houses locals portray life and the old professions of days gone by. Children can play with old toys and Nathan loved walking on stilts. After a while he was even quite good at it...
